Police are asking for help in tracing a driver who attacked another motorist in Broadstairs.
A number of other people were on the road at the time of the incident on Friday, May 1.
The assault happened at about 9.45am at the roundabout where Bromstone Road meets Ramsgate Road.
The police hope someone may have seen something that could help them piece together what happened.
The 66-year-old driver of a county council minibus was heading out of Ramsgate and just about to pull on to the roundabout when he had to stop because of the actions of a driver in silver BMW, approaching from Broadstairs.
Both vehicles stopped and the driver of the BMW, who was travelling alone, went to the open bus window and punched the man in the face, shouting at him as he did so.
The minibus driver got out and attempted to call police, but the BMW driver barged him and stamped on his phone when it fell to the ground and the victim fell over a garden wall.
He suffered bruising, cuts and shock.
The attacker is white, in his early 30s, 5ft 10in tall and has a stocky build, leading witnesses to suggest he may be a body-builder.
It is believed the BMW had the numbers 1 and 2 and the letters ANK in the registration.
Anyone who saw the incident or who has information about who the attacker may be is asked to phone DC Katrina Whitehead at Margate police station on 01843 231055.
